Set against the foggy, unsettling backdrop of a rural East Coast community in 1974, Travis Hall, a young man haunted by his past, tries to escape his entanglement with Roosters, an American men's secret society of which he is the heir.

His blossoming relationship with a young woman, Sonny Wilks, gives him the courage to leave–until his deceased father, Teddy Hall, returns as a vengeful ghost, bound on enforcing his son’s inheritance. As Travis grapples with haunting memories of his father’s horrifying punishments and his mother’s mysterious death, the sinister truth of Roosters begins to unravel.
